Economic Justice

Background

Economic justice is a set of moral principles for building economic institutions, the ultimate goal of which is to create an opportunity for each person to create a sufficient material foundation upon which to have a dignified, productive and creative life beyond economics. This collection features stories pertaining to the idea that the economy exists for the person, not the person for the economy and that society has a moral obligation, including governmental action where necessary, to assure opportunity, meet basic human needs and pursue justice in economic life.
